Stories from Pau and The Foundry by Diana Zotescu

Five hours away from Paris, one and a half from the Atlantic, four to Barcelona and six to Cote d’Azur. What am I talking about ? Pau – the capital of the France Aquitane district. If you are interested here is sort of a schedule just for you.

10.00 AM - enjoy a delicious croissant in a tiny cafe bar brasserie on the large Boulevard des Pyrinees.
11.00 Hit the Henry IV castle and start thinking medieval times.
13.00 Stroll in the gardens surrounding the castle and admire the overwhelming snowy Pyriness.
15.00 Check out some of the French haut-cuisine restaurants…they are all around – seafood, pastry specialities, famous pates, cheeses and wines.
17.00 Go crafts shopping…for more refined tastes try the La Fayette galeries in Centre Ville.
19.00 Save the evening for a drink in the Garage Pub…and since French are the party type don’t think you’ll hit the bed too early. Although bars close at 2 am the clubs are open until morning…

And if you are here why not go for something more educational? The Foundry School offers training courses for PR practitioners, translators and computer engineers. It is a training, research and development center working on behalf of SigEx Inc. The revolutionary platform it uses for communication is based on the SuperPBX concept. The Foundry and Sigex Inc., are the creation of CEO Chris Cantell and COO Frederic Artru - two professionals in their field of activity.
